It has been the crazyiest and busiest month yet.
I'm working on this big project at work that is consuming all of my time, including my life outside of work. The good news is the project is almost over and I should be able to go back to a normal work/life balance.
Things around the house seem to be going down hill as well. While I was on one of my many ski trips my garage door open ripped out of the garage door. After taking some time to research I discover the garage door opener was installed incorrectly. I contacted the company and all they could tell me is that the warranty for labor is 3 months and materials is 1 year. Well this was installed 1 1/2 years ago.
So once things slow down I'm going to bring out a company to look at the door and see how much it will cost to fix the damage to the door and then take the other company to small claim plus leave negative comments on Angies list and BBB. I'm hoping the company that installed the opener will be more willing to work with me. I don't like being like this but when push comes to shove.......
Then last weekend my front tire went flat only to find out it couldn't be repaired. Of course it happened on a Saturday night when all the tire shops were closed. Plus there is no tire shops open on a Sunday except Walmart, which was very busy. I was there for a little over 3 hours. Sunday was going to be the day I was going to lay around and relax but it never happened.
So this Saturday I promised myself a day of doing nothing. A day to recharge, maybe catch a movie i've been wanting to see, maybe paint my guest bathroom and hallway or maybe not. I made sure I have no plans on Saturday so I can just veg out and not have to think.
