What happened to 2010? Did anyone think about that when the ball was dropping and you were ringing in the new year?
I did but only because I was as sick as a dog, laying on my couch, hoping that midnight would come quickly so I could go to bed. The only good thing about being sick and staying home on New Years Eve was I was able to finish my 2010 photo book and order it through Blurb. It was delivered a few day's ago.
This is the third year I've create a photo book of my entire year. I used to scrap book but found scrap booking was a lot of money and a lot of time. The I ran across this website that will create any type of book you want. So at the end of 2008 I did a small (test) book to see if I liked the quality. I loved the way it turned out so ever since I've create one photo album that contained all that years photos.
Anyway, if you haven't visited Blurb.com I would suggest it.
So what are my crazy plans for 2011? I will be traveling a lot in the first half of the year.
First and foremost I am going to put my house on the market around March/April time frame and hope that it will sell. If it sells I will either A)purchase a new house or B)move into an apartment. I'm actually thinking that moving into an apartment is my best choice. This will allow me to find the house of my dreams and save more money for a down payment.
Ms. E's daughter is very interested in the property however I won't know until April if she will be able to purchase the house. So my plan is to go ahead and prep the property for sale and talk to a realtor to find out if we can put a deviation in the contract that states is Ms. E's daughter decides to purchase the property the Realtorr's contact is null and void. Not sure how that will go but we will see. I'm researching different realtor companies right now.
I am the maid of honor for my friends wedding that will be in the Bahamas. I've booked the fights already and will book the rooms in March. I also need to purchase the bridesmaids dress. Luckily she is letting me pick it out so I can get something that looks and feels good on me.
Then shortly after the wedding Mitch and I will be traveling to South Dakota...our yearly trip. This year it will be earlier than before. Should be fun to go out at a different time of year. Maybe some of my fly's will work better earlier in the year...LOL. Or it could just be that I'm bad a fly fishing.
Mitch and I also have three ski trips planned before the end of ski season. Luckily the resorts we are skiing at are close so it doesn't require any booked flights. The good thing is I have lift tickets left over from last years (due to my shoulder injury I was refunded my tickets) and Mitch signed up on this website and won two lift tickets as the same place. So that trip will be pretty cheap just the cost of hotel and food.
Can't wait to see what the second half of 2011 will bring. I'm hoping to put a break on the travel int he second part of the year only because if I do purchase a house I will want to spend some time making it my house. So all my travel is during the first half of the year and the second half will be dedicated to my new house (I'm trying to think positive).
I hope you all have great plans in 2011 as well.
Happy New Year!!!
PS...Os, still have you on my friends to visit list. I still need to visit Beth as well and she lives a state down from you (sort of) so maybe I can combined the trips into one and just make it an extra long weekend.
