Mourning a Loss

This morning I had to come face to face with the reality that Jazy was not doing well. She was lifeless and at first I wasn't sure if she was even alive. She didn't lift her head like she normally does when I walk into the room. I knew, I knew what I needed to do. It was time.

I called my mom and my brother because I needed help with her and I just didn't have the energy to call the vet because I knew what it meant. So my mom called for me and they got me in within the hour...I knew going there I would be leaving without Jazmin. And it just broke my heart. A doggy mom just knows when it's time and it was time.

We got into the vet and the vet looked her over. She was lifeless, her heart rate was slow and her bleed pressure was low. Her gums were white and she had fluid in the stomach which possible meant that her spleen has ruptured and she was bleeding internally.

I could have sent her to another vet that could have given her a blood transfusion and remove her the spleen or tumor. But it would have been to painful for her and she was already near the end with multiple tumors in her breast that could have been cancer. I couldn't so that...I knew it was time.

And it was...I gave permission to put Jazy down and I know it was the right thing to do but it was still hard.

Dear Jazy,
I love you girl and hope that you are in a happier place. You were a good girl and I miss you dearly. I kept my promise to you, I made the pain go away. You no longer have to struggle to get up. Your hips no longer hurt you and you no longer have pain in your body.

I kept my promise to you, I didn't leave your side while you fell asleep. I was there when you crossed over the bridge. Now you are running free without pain and know that I miss you and love you with all my heart.

Love Mommy

God, this hurts so bad! I thought I had cried all I could but the tears just won't stop. Every time I think about her I start to cry again.

Jazy, I love you girl and thank you for choosing me as your mommy. Rest in peace and know that you won't hurt anymore. Thank you for sharing life with me.

Life just keep getting more enjoyable

FLOWERS
It first started with flowers from my neighbor left on my counter when I came home from work the other day. Don’t worry she didn’t break in, she has keys to my house
Are you wondering why I got a bouquet of flowers? Well because Jenni is a good friend. Edie called me up at 11:45pm the other night telling me that her son is having chest pain and she needed to call the ambulance. And she needed to know if it ended up being nothing if I would be able to pick them up from the hospital. I said sure and went back to sleep.

Then the phone rang again and it was about 2am and she let me know that it ended up being nothing (which I was happy to hear) and she needed to be picked up. So I got dressed (which ment I throw on some yoga pants, t-shirt and flip flops) and headed to the hospital. And because of that she went to the store the following day and bought me a very colorful bouquet of flower and left them on my counter.

I walked in and of course noticed the flower and for the life of me could figure out why I had flowers on my counter….lack of sleep make my mind not work…LOL. Anyway after putting down all my stuff I saw the card and it simply said “Thank you, Edie, Dennis”. It was the sweetest thing…..I love flowers! They make me feel so loved. Totally didn’t expect the flower. I still have them in my family room so I can enjoy them everyday. THANKS Edie and Dennis!!!!

DIAMOND EARINGS
Speaking of heart issues…I almost had a heart attack yesterday. I had gotten back from my 5k race and decided to cut my yard. Which after running 3 miles and then cutting grass for an hour I was exhausted…probably didn’t help that I haven’t been sleeping very well for the last several days. Anyway I went to take a shower and then passed out on my couch and sleep so well. Then I got up and went into the bathroom where I notice the back of one of my earrings was sitting on the floor. My heart just sank because the only pair of earrings I had in was the pair of Diamond Earrings that Mitch gave me for Christmas. I check my right ear, still there and then the second ear…IT WAS GONE!!!

I picked up the back of the earring and started looking everywhere on the floor and even in the vent. I gently shook the rugs and my cloths that were still on the floor….nothing. I lost my diamond, I panicked. I had to find it! I jumped to my feet and looked in the tub thinking even if it fell out in the tub the water would have sent it down the drain.

To my luck it was still in the tub up against the edge. I just stood there looking at it, couldn’t believe I actually found it. Now I’m nervous to wear them….I still haven’t put them in because I’m worried I will lose one again. I will probably go home to night and put them in but it just makes me nervous.

5K Race
Sunday I ran another 5K. I’ve been trying to find someone who wants to run the small 5K races and I think I finally found someone. Kelly ran it with me and it was her first time running a 5K and she seemed to enjoy it. At first she was a little nervous because I don’t think she has ever actually ran 3 miles straight. She would always stop in the middle to walk for a minute and then pick up running again. So she wasn’t sure if she could finish it. But she did and she was very proud of her self.

We also ran into Ping and Brian and they both enjoyed the short run as well. So I suggested we do another one in 6 week and we can all run together. They all thought it was a great idea. So now I’m on a mission to pick out another 5K that we all can enjoy.

BAHAMA’S TRIP
This weekend is my Bahama’s trip with my mom and brother. I can’t believe how quick it came up. So tonight I think I will start packing….this should be so fun. I’m sure I will have a lot of stuff to chat about when I come back.

I really need to blog more often so my entries are not so long…..kinda boring to read if you don’t know me

It all about the words

I’ve noticed that there a few things in life that just make me calm or relaxed or just bring me back to being a child where there are no worries in the world. I don’t know why but pudding cups make me feel like a kid and the book Mrs Piggle wiggle. I don’t know why but the other day I was thinking about Mrs Piggle Wiggle and it just gave me this sense of calmness like when I was young and there was nothing in the world that could hurt me. Maybe it’s just the words…they kinda makes me giggle.

I don’t know it just puts a smile on my face so I had to share with everyone. Maybe this will be my new phrase just to make me giggle…I'll just say Mrs. Piggle Wiggle over and over until it puts a smile on my face…OK now back to my Jello pudding cup, ah what it’s like to be a kid again.

OK…really I’m working on very little sleep so I might not be thinking right.

Spy's R Us

So me (SpyJ)and my friend (SpyE) had a covert mission this weekend and unfortunately we blow it! Quiet and sneaky are not our style...so here is how it all played out.

We found out that the lady next to SpyE passed and after a few weeks she started to notice activity in the house. The family was removing everything out of the house including the kitchen sink. So we got to talking about it and wondered what was going on with the house. SpyJ asked if they were prepping it to sale or was it being foreclosed on. SpyE wasn't sure.

So Friday night we decided to go over to the house and take a look...this was our mission. To walk by the house and see if we could see anything and determine what was going on.

So we got our flashlights and waited for the sun to drop. It was a quiet night and the moon was shining bright and it was time to become SpyJ and SpyE. So we started to head out her backyard to keep things quiet. As soon as we walked out her back door her daughters dogs started to bark....and it was a loud coon dog type of bark. SpyE quietly screams "Shut Up!!!" I busted out laughing...so much for being stealth.

Then we approached the fence that we had to climb. Not a very difficult fence. It was only about 4 feet tall and a chain link that was a little rickety. So SpyE is the first to go over. She places her hands on the top railing which half of it is already detached from one post. She steadies her self and gently places her right foot on top of the chain link. Then her weight shifted as she prepared her self to hop over the fence.

Then there was a snap and all I could see was SpyE heading toward the ground, her right foot falling on the other side of the fence and her left foot flying in the air. At that point I realized the railing she was using had snapped off the other post and fallen to the ground taking SpyE with it.

All I could do is Laugh my Ass off. I couldn't help it, here we were trying to be stealth with the dogs barking in the back ground and SpyE left dangling on a 4ft chain linked fence. I wanted to help but I was paralyzed with hysterical laughter.

She regained her balance as she straddled the fence and to my relief was laughing hysterical as well. She was able to slid off the fence and with the fence half down I was able to just step over it with no problem.

Did we finish our covert mission? If I told you the I would have to......

Anyway the following day, SpyE discovered she had a bruise on her inner thigh the size of a basket ball and in talking to the neighbor discovered that the house is being foreclosed on.

So much for SpyJ and SpyE with their covert mission, we will just ask the neighbor next time.

Exciting Travels are planned

Yes....it is coming close to my one big travel this year. The travel with my mom and brother/wife on a cruise to the bahamas. We are still trying to figure out our excursion but everything else is payed for and ready to go.

I'm so excited...except for the dressing up for dinner thing. I was going to buy a new dress but decided the one I have is good enough and it's only good enough because I never wear dresses so why buy a new one. However I do need to get a little sweater to put over my shoulders. I'm hoping to find something under $20.

My next trip may be to Florida....these plans are still in the works.

Then at the end of the year I will be traveling to Virginia and then to Spain or Italy. Both of these are for business however I am planning on staying after each trip and take small vacation. This will happen in September!!!! Yeah

Then my bookclub will be traveling to Calafornia. There is a book expo going on one weekend and several author show up and hold seminars. So about half are group is interested in going. We still don't have a date but dates shold be coming out by the end of May.

Mitch is planning a ski trip with all our friends. I'm not sure if this will be in Nov/Dec or the first of next year. We need to talk more with the group and see what they were thinking.

I love love love to travel. So much fun....next year I might have to purchase and extra week so I can travel more.

OK....I'm off to go do some spying...will have to fill everyone in later on this one....I'm so adventurous....LOL.

Ultimate Relaxation

Seriously I found the best music to relax to and, of course, I can’t find it to purchase it. It was at Barnes and Nobles at one time but it is now out of stock and not likely to get restocked. I’m half considering going to all the used bookstore in town and see if I might be able to get this CD

For now I will book mark it as my favorites and keep coming back to YouTube…but seriously I need the CD so I can play it at night while I sleep.

Even if I could find a CD similar to this music it would be wonderful. Any suggestions?
